C. Ransom Samuelson II is a partner in the Los Angeles
office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He founded the
firm's New York office in 1982. He has extensive experience in
the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and sale of
commercial and industrial real estate projects on behalf of
both foreign and domestic clients.
In 1970, Mr. Samuelson graduated from the University of
Southern California. While attending USC he served as an
Editor of the Law Review.
Mr. Samuelson is a member of the American Bar Association's
Committee on Foreign Investments in U.S. Real Estate and has
lectured widely in Europe and the United States on legal
aspects of foreign investment in United States real estate.
Mr. Samuelson is also a member of the Roundtable, an advisory
group to New York University's Real Property Institute, and is
a Fellow of the American College of Investment Counsel.
