Russell drussell@boselaw.com phone: 317•684•5271 Profile David Williams Russell joined the law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP in February 1999 as a partner. Mr. Russell received his law degree with honors from Northwestern University and A.B. and M.B.A. degrees from Dartmouth College. He chairs the firm's International Practice Group and concentrates his practice in the area of complex international and domestic business transactions, including the following: transactions - mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, entity formation, business planning, partnerships, joint ventures and legal opinions; financings - securities compliance, public and private securities offerings and syndications, and banking and lending; technologies law - internet and cyberspace law, electronic commerce, trade secrets, confidentiality, computer and software licensing, technical assistance, and technology transfers and licensing arrangements; marketing law - sales law, distribution and sales agency arrangements, antitrust law, restrictive covenants, employment contracts, and franchising; and real estate - leasing, acquisitions, financings, and syndications. Mr. Russell also has experience in corporate litigation and dispute resolution, including antitrust and patent litigation and transnational arbitration. He was recently honored by the World Trade Club of Indiana as International Businessperson of the Year. Mr. Russell has numerous awards and honors among them being listed in Who's Who in America and a number of related Who's Who publications, such as Who's Who in American Law. Appointments / Memberships Member: Indiana State Bar Association (Co-Chairman, Written Publication Committee, 1997-99; Vice Chairman, International Law Section, 1988-90; Chairman 1990-92, Treasurer, 2001); Indianapolis Bar Association, and American Bar Association (Antitrust Law, International Law and Intellectual Property Sections); International Bar Association; Illinois Bar. Mr. Russell has served as an officer and/or board member of numerous professional, civic, education and charitable organizations, including Asian Help Services, Asian American Alliance, Center for International Business Education and Research, The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Bloomington, Krannert School of Management, Purdue University, Global Crossroads Foundation, Indiana's Federal District Export Council, and Scarborough Peace Games. He is a Past President of the World Trade Club of Indiana, and has been an adjunct faculty member at the Indiana University School of Business.
