Areas of
Practice Beirne Lovely, a partner in the firm’s
Corporate Department, represents clients in connection
with a variety of corporate and financing transactions,
including acquisitions and mergers, secured and
unsecured financings, leveraged buyouts, leveraged and
single-investor equipment lease financings, revenue bond
and other governmental and agency financings,
governmental leasing, private and public equity and debt
offerings, and related financial services and banking
matters.
Work for
Clients Mr. Lovely serves as general or special
counsel to a variety of corporations, partnerships,
banks and SEC-registered investment advisors and
broker-dealers.
Professional
Activities Mr. Lovely is a member of the
corporate law practice groups of the Boston,
Massachusetts and American Bar Associations.
Publications/Presentations Mr.
Lovely has frequently been a panelist/speaker at
seminars presented by such organizations as The
Entrepreneurship Institute and The Eastern Association
of Equipment Lessors.
He was Managing Editor of
the Boston University Law Review.
Professional
Experience From 1967 to 1972, Mr. Lovely was a
U.S. Marine Corps infantry officer, during which time he
served tours of duty in Vietnam and as executive officer
of the Marine Barracks in Newport, Rhode Island.
