Bruce J. Chasan e-mail: bjchasan@crbcp.com Bruce joined the firm in 2001, after serving as an Associate
Solicitor in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Bruce received
an A.B. in Chemistry from Dartmouth College, an M.A. in Biochemistry from
the University of Oregon, and a J.D. from Boston College Law School. Early
in his career, Bruce was a trial attorney in the United States Department
of Justice in Washington, D.C. and from 1976 to 1984, he was an Assistant
U.S. Attorney in Philadelphia. Thereafter Bruce was in private
practice in Philadelphia for more than fifteen years. He has
extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts, particularly
in matters involving jury trials. Bruce is a registered patent attorney
and is a member of the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association,
sitting on its Board of Directors. Bruce is a member of the Bar of the
U.S. Supreme Court and the Courts of Appeals for the Federal, District of
Columbia, First, Third, Fourth and Ninth Circuits. Bruce is also admitted
to practice in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia and the District of
Columbia. Bruce’s practice involves all aspects of intellectual property
law, with particular emphasis on complex litigation.
