Biography
Wayne B. Sorensen, associate professor and past department chair (Ph.D. in hospital and health administration from University of Iowa; M.H.A. in health care administration from Baylor University; B.S.B. in business administration from University of Minnesota). Prior to joining the faculty in 1993, Dr. Sorensen was an international consultant and associate professor and director of Army/Baylor program in health care administration. Dr. Sorensen's teaching and research interests include organizational behavior and personnel. Dr. Sorensen is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, serving as president of the San Antonio Chapter from 1985 to 1989; receiving the Lone Star Chapter Senior Executive Award in 1998; and since 1999, serves as the President of the Central Texas Chapter.
